Richard Lee Grigsby Obituary
We announce the death of Richard Lee Grigsby (Moore, Oklahoma), who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 93. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Grigsby and Reta Grigsby (Brewer); his wife Patricia Grigsby (Willmon); his in-laws, Clifford and Emma Willmon; his brother William "Bill" Grigsby (Mary); his brother-in-law Larry Willmon; and his nephew Ryan Willmon.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Grigsby of Dallas, Texas and Kevin Grigsby (Deanese) of Joshua, Texas; his grandsons, Brock Grigsby (Bailey) of Liberty Hill, Texas and Gage Grigsby (Bella) of Ada, Oklahoma; his great grandchildren, Baker and Sadler Grigsby of Liberty Hill, Texas.; his sister Martha Hale (Curtis) of Edmond, Oklahoma; his nieces and nephews, Maurita Kaye Payne (Rex) of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Steve Grigsby of Edmond, Oklahoma, Michael Hale of Owasso, Oklahoma and De'Aun Sandvig (Chad) of Edmond, Oklahoma; his sister-in-law Geneva Willmon of Skiatook, Oklahoma; and his nephew Alex Willmon (Betsy) of Grove. He is also survived by many other extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (301 NE 27th St, Moore, OK 73160). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Davenport Cemetery West Highway.
