She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Harry Long and Mulsey Long (Tarpalechee); her great-niece Rayne Miske; her son Richard Long of Muskogee, OK; her siblings, Wotko Long of Muskogee, OK, Gary (Joann Miles-Long), Larry, Taylor Long and Starr Long; and her nieces, Georgina Long and Bobbie Walston. She was also cherished by her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her service to her country, her love for her family, and her contributions to her community.
