As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear and the legacy Richard leaves behind.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ed Bailey and Sharon Bailey; his brother Ralph Bailey; and his son Rudy Dewayne. He is survived by : his wife Jo Linda; his daughter Holly Deubel (Andrew); his granddaughters, Abigail and Olivia; and his brothers, Roy Bailey (Renee) and Russell Bailey (Trisha). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service (220 S Alabama Ave, Okmulgee, OK 74447). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God (301 N Seminole Ave, Okmulgee, OK 74447).
