He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Adams and Francis Scott Adams; his former wife Kathy Adams; his siblings, Leonard Adams, Donal Adams, Gilmer Adams, Evelyn Chenault, Emma Jean Gustus and Mary Taylor; and his grandson Timothy Allen Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth D. Adams; and his children, Kevin Eugene Adams (Pam), Gaylord Dennis Adams II (Jennifer), Michael Adams and Jan Redifer (Ralph). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
