He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Martha Jean Swanson (Brown) and Martha Scott; his grandparents, Mart and Lucy Brown; his brother Richard Shipley; his uncle Charles Brown; his aunt Ida Jane "Diddy" Leftwich; his wife Lisa Swanson; his children, Heather Augestein, Kristy Stockwell (Jacob) and Michael Horton "Cowboy"; his grandchildren, Abigail Rose Stockwell, Jonathan Michael Stockwell, Michael Horton, Justin Riney, Cooper Augenstein, Maverick Augenstein and Paisley Augenstein; and his brother Mark Scott. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
