He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Butler and Essie Butler; his wife Betty Butler (Reschke); his sisters, Evelyn Brown, Wanda Moore, Roberta Sanborn and Margie Graham; his grandsons, James and Chad Butler; and his great grandchildren, Ivy Coursey and Dylan Banks.

He is survived by: his children, Della Banks of Kellyville, Terry Butler (Heather) of Mounds, Lynn Butler of Mounds and Sherry McDaniel (Gary) of Mounds, Oklahoma.; and his grandchildren, Brian Banks, Kevin Banks, Kelli Jones, Jessica Butler of Terry, Amber Butler, Shannon Butler, Shawn Butler, Shannon McDaniel and Heather Mears. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

He seemed like family to me and will miss him and the talks we had. He was a strong willed man that didn't take a lot of guff off of anybone.
