He was predeceased by: his wife Billie Sue Sherer; his son James Sherer; and his grandson Heath Sherer. He is survived by: his son Donald Sherer; his daughter-in-law Linda Sherer; his grandson Blake Sherer; his granddaughter-in-law Carrie Sherer; and his great grandchild Elizabeth Sherer.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home (5203 Hollis Goodwin Rd, Dora, AL 35062). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
