He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Arl and Rebecca Edris Hartsfield (Carr); and his son Don Cranford. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hartsfield; his children, Joe Hartsfield (Betina), Joshua Hartsfield (McKinzie), Buddy Cantrell (Susan), Amanda Moses (Rodney), Betty Jones (Jeff), Tonia Rector (Alan), Cynthia Cox (Bill), Janey Cantrell, Janet Tabor (Doug) and Carla Tabor (Roger); his brothers, Steve Hartsfield (Brenda) and Paul Hartsfield; and his grandchildren, Reagan, Riley, Ashlee, Aliesha, Troy, Virgil, Halston, Christina, Trey, Tyler, Jacey, Ashley, Kressa, Patrisha, Christopher, Eric, Freyja and Lakelyn-Leigh. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McConnell Funeral Home Chapel (137 N Main St, Greenwood, AR 72936). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
