He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Mae Shade (Slaughter). He is survived by: his father Joe Leslie Shade of Muldrow, OK; his children, Ashley West of Fort Smith, AR, Akiilah Shade of Heavener, OK, Shaniya Shade of Fort Smith, AR and Byron Peterson of Joplin, MO; and his siblings, Kenneth Shade of Muldrow, OK, Joe Junior Shade of Fort Smith, AR, Kevin Shade of Fort Smith, AR, Marvin Shade of Fort Smith, AR, Bruce Shade of Perham, MN and Debra Gaines of Muldrow, OK. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
