He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Martin (Breezley) and Claude Martin; and his siblings, Jerry, Dolan Martin, Virgey Norman, Velma Adams and Norma Jean Tollison.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Martin; his daughter Karen Schomburg (Eddie); his granddaughters, Jessica and Jennifer Schomburg; his stepchildren, Randy Collins, Angel of Short, OK, Glenda Harris, Dale of Beggs, OK, Mary Jo Meadors and Brett of Spiro, OK; and his stepgrandchildren, Paisley Chandler, Jackson Mathis, Daniel Collins, Glen Harris, Rachel Foley, Travis Mize and Taylor Mize. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
