He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Ethel Mooney (Hart) and Floyd Willie Mooney; his wife JoAnn Mooney (Walters); his son Jeff Mooney; and his siblings, Farrelldene Johnson and Dana Wayne Mooney.
He is survived by: his son Vance Mooney (Kennilee) of Nicut, OK; his grandchildren, Nick Mooney (Durrell), Natalie Weidman (Ryan), Hunter Mooney (Devota), Dillon Mooney of Tulsa, OK and Blaine Mooney (Tabitha); his great grandchildren, Isaiah Mooney, Chloe Mooney, Hadleigh Mooney, Tucker Mooney, Mackenzie Mooney, Zoey Mooney and Karlie Mooney; and his brother Willie Mooney (Gailia McMaster) of Van Buren, AR. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Agent & Mallory Martin Funeral Home (123 S Wheeler Ave, Sallisaw, OK 74955). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Eugene Mooney will be remembered for his devotion to family, his contributions to the community, and the love he spread throughout his life.
