The family announces the passing of Laura Ann (Richardson) Young of Muldrow, Oklahoma on August 24, 2026. Laura Ann, born on November 23, 1940, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Luther and Ora Richardson (Shaw); her husband Raymond William Young; and her siblings, Barbara Inadelle Wilson, William L. Richardson and Jimmy Richardson.
She is survived by: her sons, William "Bill" Charles Young of Muldrow and Robert "Bob" Allen Young (Kristin) of Checotah, OK; her grandchildren, Kasey Crain (Alec) of Tahlequah, OK, Derek Young of Stillwater, OK and Jacilynn Young of Roland, OK; her great grandchildren, Adelina Crain and Luna RayLee Young; and her friends, Jim Merritt and Didi Alexander. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Agent Mallory Martin Chapel (904 E Shawntel Smith Blvd, Muldrow, OK 74948). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Her hobbies were playing Yahtzee, Dominoes and Yahoo Marbles along with working jigsaw puzzles which were displayed all over the walls of her current house, along with donating multiple puzzles to the nursing home where she had done rehab, as well as anyone that wanted a completed one.
