He was predeceased by: his parents, Lou Ellen Burrows (Howard) and Russell Lee Burrows; his former wife Jean Burrows; his son Timothy Lee Burrows; his stepson Jackie Rogers; and his siblings, Carl Burrows, Bill Burrows and Anna Faye Young.

He is survived by: his wife Earlene; his daughters, Teresa Jean Organ of Broken Arrow and Janice Gibson (Tracy) of Muldrow, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Colby Gibson (Haley) of Muldrow, London Lee (Landon) of Van Buren and Melissa Rogers of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; and his sister Linda Rogers (Bud) of Lavaca, Arkansas. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Viewing was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Agent Mallory Martin Chapel (904 E Shawntel Smith Blvd, Muldrow, OK 74948). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church (203 West Sequoyah St, Muldrow, OK 74948). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carolan Cemetery (6061 AR-23, Booneville, AR 72927).
