He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Marion Owens and Alean Owens (Traweek); his wife Phyllis Jean Vann; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Peaslee, Betty Prine, Lecho Vann and James Lynn Vann.
He is survived by: his brothers, Carl Owens of Owasso, OK and Patrick Owens; and his sister-in-law Robbie Nell Vann of Muldrow, OK. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
