He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Leslie Blackburn and Vera Blackburn; and his siblings, Morris Blackburn, Stanley Blackburn, Marilyn Blackburn and Martha Blackburn Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Blackburn; his daughter Jamie Reynolds (Greg) of Muldrow; his granddaughters, Jarrah Sydney Caughman (Garret) of Muldrow and Audrah Hall (Maison) of Tulsa; his great grandchildren, Parker and Denver Caughman; his siblings, Marvin Blackburn (Cleta), Carl Blackburn of Melrose, Evelyn Tollison and Margery Blackburn of Greenville; and his siblings-in-law, Susie Baker, Jean Christopher, Kenneth Bunt Christopher and Jesse Star Sims. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Agent Mallory Martin Chapel (904 E Shawntel Smith Blvd, Muldrow, OK 74948). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the U. S. National Cemetery (522 Garland Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
