It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berthena Palmer of Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Hardridge and Geraldine Hardridge (Steen); her former husband Spencer Lee Gordon, Sr.; her husband Gene Palmer; and her siblings, Erma Jean, Earnest Jr., Jimmy Hardridge and Thurman.
She is survived by: her children, Evette Anderson of Rowlett, TX, Spencer Gordon, Jr. of Webbers Falls, OK, Gwendolyn of Tulsa, OK and Nyteshia Palmer of Tulsa, OK; her stepchildren, Kenneth Palmer of Tulsa, OK and Crystal Carter of Broken Arrow, OK; her siblings, Archie Steen (Garletta) of San Antonio, TX, Dennis Hardridge of Rowlett, TX, Raymond of Muskogee, OK, Glenn of Muskogee, OK, Timothy Hardridge of Muskogee, OK, Richard, Terry, Denise Ledbetter of Muskogee, OK and Barbara; and her grandchildren, Nakia, Paul, LaToya, Jordan, Cree, Jaylyn, Domonique, Jabril, Brooke and Ashtyn. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.
