She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin F. Short and Thelma Jean Short (Baughman); her husband Earnie Lee Bales; and her daughter Brandy Bales. She is survived by: her sons, Chris Bales and Earnie Bales Jr. of Muskogee; her siblings, Joe Short of Siloam and Lajean Whiteside of Cleburne, Texas; and her granddaughters, Brittany Bales of Muskogee, Haley Bales of Muskogee and Story Bales of Muskogee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
