He was predeceased by: his parents, Cordelia Frances Taylor (Shulte) and Lewis Taylor; his wife Gladys Taylor; his son-in-law Ronnie Elam; and his grandson-in-law Ed Coachman.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Roberts (Ricky) of Oktaha, Sonya Elam of Oktaha, Larry Taylor (Amanda) of Edna, KS and Darlene Elam (Terry) of Oktaha; and his brother Carl Taylor (Shirley) of Muskogee. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great-grandchildren; along with multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
