She was predeceased by: her parents, John Daniel Fuller and Ann Avery (Byrd); her former husband John Nelson; her stepfather Bob Avery; her brother-in-law Richard Peak; her daughter-in-law Heather Nelson; and her stepson Kenny Bowyer.
She is survived by: her husband Butch Bowyer; her sons, Shane Nelson of Oklahoma City, OK and Jody Nelson of Muskogee, OK; her sisters, Debbie Peak of Muskogee, OK and Linda Gipson of Muskogee, OK; her daughters, Melissa Cunningham of Muskogee, OK and Cheryl Cunningham of Muskogee, OK; her grandchildren, Natalie Locke (Austin Davis) of Maine, Jordan Cunningham (Theresa) of Muskogee, OK, Alison Henson of Muskogee, OK, Hunter Jenkins of Muskogee, OK, Waylon Jenkins of Muskogee, OK, Matthew Church (Alissa Baker) of Welling, OK, Darby Church of Muskogee, OK, Madisyn Cunningham of Chouteau, OK, Rylinn Bowyer of Chouteau, OK, Kolby Bowyer of Chouteau, OK and Brett Bowyer of Pryor, OK; her great grandchild Nolan Cunningham of Muskogee, OK; her sisters, Betty Rogers and Linda "TJ" Smith; and her siblings' children, Wade Gipson (Michelle Wright) of Muskogee, OK and Jennifer Gourd (Johnson Gourd) of Porter, OK. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (600 E Okmulgee St, Muskogee, OK 74403).
