It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Thurston of Muskogee, Oklahoma, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Amos and Mabel Johnson Ortego; his mother Mary Janell Thurston; and his sister Jacqueline Thurston Dyer. He is survived by: his wife Dana Mehson Thurston; his father Reverend Paul Thurston; his sister Sondra Adams (Blake); his children, Bryan Thurston (Stephanie), Randall Thurston, Russell Thurston, Anna Thurston, Renee Thurston and Maggie Thurston; and his grandchildren, Damien Thurston, Nathan Thurston, Jackson Bieberdorf-Thurston and Janell Bieberdorf-Thurston.
