He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Nelson; his parents-in-law, Charles Capps and Blanch Capps; and his niece Tammy Shockley. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughters, Brandy Miller (Jody) and Christy Potts; his grandchildren, J. D. Miller (Erika), Cheyenne Kiehl (Colton), Cody Potts (Haley) and Triston Potts (Colby Ledbetter); his daughters, Stetson Potts, Kacen Potts, Sawyer Miller and Wrenley Kiehl; his mother Imogene Anderson; his sister Linda Jackson (Ewing); and his brother-in-law Mike Capps.
