He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Scraper and Mary Jane Hummingbird Scraper; his wife Terry Lynn Jones; his grandparents, Daniel, Lucinda Hummingbird, Richard and Rebecca Scraper; his daughter Kari Dawn Scraper; his grandson Ja'Ceon Lakota Scraper; his brothers, Kenneth, Johnny, Wilson, William and Leroy Sanders; and his sister-in-law Sherry Scraper.
He is survived by: his children, Cheyenne Scraper (Lawrence) and Shawn Scraper (Summer); his siblings, Dickie Scraper, Sammy Scraper (Karen), Bobby Sanders (Gloria), Sandra Scraper and Mary Ann White (Jerry); his sister-in-law Dee Sanders; his grandchildren, Haden (Jazlynn), Zachery, Ramon, Clarisa, Amaia and Lawrence Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Millie Dawn, Skye Kari, Spencer and Lakota Wayne. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Boston Avenue Baptist Church (201 S 30th St, Muskogee, OK 74401).
