He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl A Nelson and Theresa Menzel Nelson; his daughter Twila; his sister Joanna Nelson; and his grandson Jason Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Helene Kegley; his daughter Starla Nelson; his stepchildren, Kay Baker (John) and Danial Kegley (Dawn); his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Leigh Baker and Christopher Baker (Jessica); and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Shelton (Vernon) and Peggy Sanders. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
