We announce the death of Erlene Tacker Gauntt (Muskogee, Oklahoma), who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Tacker and Cora Merrill Tacker; her husband David Gauntt; her sisters, Betty Echols and Maxanna Skrimager; and her sister-in-law Joyce Odell.
She is survived by: her sister Helen (Clarence Guthrie); her children, Jackie (Joe Thouvenel), David (Debbie Gauntt) and Gary (Eunjung Gauntt); her son-in-law Joe Thouvenel; her grandson Jared (Lori); her great grandchildren, Matt and Hannah (Dexter); her great great grandchildren, Callen and Cove; her granddaughter Jamie (Phillip); her great grandchild Jalyn (Conner); her great great grandchild Jesa; her great grandchildren, Jayde and Cason; her daughter-in-law Debbie; her granddaughter Charisse (Ron); her great grandchildren, Athena and Arianna; her grandchildren, Kasey and Zach (Sarah); her great grandchildren, David and Sophie; her daughter-in-law Eunjung; her grandson Wesley (An); her great grandchild Mia; and her granddaughter Elizabeth.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Cornerstone Funeral Home & Crematory (1830 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Greenhill Cemetery (1500 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403).
