He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Everett Werntz and Catherine Electa Werntz (Rice); his siblings, Leon Erwin Werntz and Anna Marie LaChance (Werntz); his daughter Rebecca Jackson (Werntz); and his grandson Joshua Robert Gorton.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Ann Gregg; his daughters, Cathy Anthis (Stan Anthis) of Muskogee, OK and Susan Werntz Gorton of Oklahoma City, OK; his son-in-law Rick Jackson of Moore, OK; his son David Werntz (Bonnie Robb) of Altadena, CA; his grandchildren, Sarah Gorton, Laura Thompson (Bryan Thompson), Karen Faszold (Jeremy Faszold), Kevin Anthis (Jessica (Tipton) Anthis), Kristen Anthis and Carla Jon (Ethan Jon); and his great grandchildren, Xander Brock, Joshua Thompson, Spencer Thompson, Elliot Anthis, Elloise Anthis, Everett Anthis, Ellaine Anthis, Fredrick Faszold, Priscilla Faszold, Theodore Faszold and Adelaide Jon.
