It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Wright (Muskogee, Oklahoma), born in Benoit, Mississippi, who passed away on April 16, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Grace Wright to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon Pearlman and Nina Goree (Cotton); and her husband Odell Wright. She is survived by: her sons, Billy Richard (Marilyn) of Stigler, OK, James Wright (Sandra) of Webbers Falls, OK and Paul Wright of Oklahoma City, OK; and her brother Ken Goree of Memphis, TN. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four step grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic there will be no funeral service.

“Mrs. Grace was my Sunday School teacher for many years when I was quite young. I loved her so much. I still remember the lessons she taught us and all the fun crafts, games and coloring that we did every week. I looked forward to going to church every week just to go to her class. She also taught my children in Sunday School when they were babies. She was a Godly woman loved by all. I have thought of her many times over the years and the influence that she had on me and so many like me. RIP”
