He was predeceased by: his parents, George McBurnett and Monnie Lea McBurnett (Bogardus); and his siblings, Edwin McBurnett, George McBurnett, Bill McBurnett, Ruby Puckett, Helen Zenz, Ruth Sikes and Mildred Ewing.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Buckmaster; his son Mark McBurnett of Wichita Falls, TX; and his siblings, Paul McBurnett (Verna) of Roseburg, OR and Betty McBurnett of Bremerton, WA.
