“Bob and I met as business associates in the early nineties. Bob, as President of Gunnebo Johnson, brought us together as partners with a mutual interest in innovative rigging products. As a strategic partner, Bob was always an ally in our ability to grow our business. I’ll will be forever grateful for Bob’s recommendation to the Board for me to advance to President of the AWRF trade association. Bob’s integrity and friendship was contagious and a role model for us all to follow. Jim Fletcher”

“My memory of Bob that I will never forget was during an AWRF meeting. At the time I worked for ESCO and Bob and I didn't do business with each other, but both attended the AWRF meetings so would see each other there. It was a time shortly after I had lost my husband and was sitting alone at a breakfast table. Bob looked over and invited me to join him. That is the type of character that Bob had, always making sure everyone around him felt included. What a kind and wonderful man. Mary Beymer”
