It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Walker Sr. of Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sons, Jerry Keith and Byron Kelly; and his brother Melvin Walker. He is survived by: his wife Alberta Lee Walker; his child Sharel [Michael] Hughes; his grandchildren, Shanda [Keith] Biglow, Jerome [Ashley] Porter, Dedric Porter, Desiree [Chris] Flores, Anita [Ariyah] Israel, Courtney Walker, Alberta "Allie" Walker, Ciara Walker, Robyn Hennigh, Nicolas Hennigh and Xander Hennigh; his siblings, Olliestene Basham, Theophilus Walker, Sr., Eddie, Geraldine Walker and Ricky [Sherry] Walker; and his friend Lonnie Fuller of California. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
