He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Laurence Finley and Marianne Gaither (Anastasi); his wife Linda; his grandchildren, Jackson Wahman, Isaac Dennis, Katie Wahman, Abigail Dennis, Nicholas Wahman, Carley Callan, Caleb Herron, Alayna Wahman and Samuel Herron; Lorie, Brian Callan, Amy, Roger Wahman, Sunny and William Herron. He was also cherished by his friends and family, but particularly with his wife and nine grandchildren.

Greg's family has requested that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, or the local Gospel Rescue Mission in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

“I’ve always said that I gave Greg the nickname “Gator”. If I did or didn’t it makes no difference, but it was very fitting. I enjoyed so much our hunting and fishing adventures together, especially our annual trip to the “Bush” of Manitoba. We also took a number of trips to fantastic places in the world. Sicily was special because Gator and Linda were part of our family. We along with many will miss him and our prayers are with the family during this very sad time. Rest In Peace my friend….”
