She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Gray Gillenwater and Genevieve Gillenwater (Robinson); her husband Herb Akers; her son-in-law Donnie Wright; her grandparents, Fred, Trissie Robinson, Pleas and Tressie Gillenwater; and her cousin Bill Robinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Wright (Mike Houser) of Pueblo, CO and Melinda; her grandchildren, Alyssa Villalon (Mica) of Austin, TX, Wesley Wright (Michelle) of League City, OK, Melissa Franklin of Tulsa, OK and Megan Fitch (Bennett) of Tulsa, OK; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Mila Villalon of Austin, TX, Roselynn Franklin Tulsa, Theo, Lena Fitch of Tulsa, OK, Sarah Wright, Grace Wright and Joni Wright of League City, TX; and her friend Delores Nelson. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
