She was predeceased by: her parents, John Will Walker and Carrie Ballard Walker; her former spouse H. L. Wright; her husband Andrew Sanders (A. J.); and her siblings, James, Otis, Andy, Joe, Jewel and John.
She is survived by: her grandson Carl Wilkerson, Jr.; and her children, Greg, Jerald "Curly", Debra, Andrew, Makhulu and Shawn (Shelly). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other beautiful family members.
