Norma Ruth Calavan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Ruth Calavan (Muskogee, Oklahoma), born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 15, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey and Angie Grace Hale (Tennis); her husband Roy Calavan; and her son Arlin Spencer Calavan. She is survived by: her children, Steven Calavan (Cindy) of Gilmer, L. D. Calavan (Pam) of Anson, DeAnn Moore (Bob) of Muskogee and Dennis Calavan of Warner, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Spencer Calavan (Jennifer), Amanda Calavan, David Calavan (Anna), Daniel Moore (Sally), Scott Moore (Jamie), Colton Calavan and Cassie Calavan (Jake Baca); and her great grandchildren, Emily Stapleton (Riley), Erin Calavan, McKenna Moore, Slade Moore, Sawyer Moore, Lane Moore, Elam Moore, Rosie Calavan and Sylis Calavan. She is also survived by many other family members, special nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, mom's request was for donations to be made to her loving church, Ash Street Baptist Church, 1521 Ash Street, Muskogee, OK, in honor of her lifelong faith and devotion to the Lord's work.
