It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Ray Benge of Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Van Benge and Bertha Benge (Dye) of Mississippi; his wife Deanna Benge; his son Jason Benge; and his siblings, John Benge, Charles Benge and Maybelle Pullen.
He is survived by: his son John Benge (Lauren) of Muskogee; his granddaughters, Angela Guinn (Steven) of Okemah and Lisa Fletcher (Carl) of Henryetta; and his great grandchildren, Bryce Guinn, Christopher Guinn, Jacob Fletcher, Aubrey Fletcher and Kayla Fletcher (Eric Stell). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cornerstone Funeral Home (1830 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel (1830 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery (1200 N Cleveland Ave, Sand Springs, OK 74063).
