He was predeceased by: his father Wayne "Dub" Sloan of Gore, Oklahoma.; his grandparents, Nola, Clifford Sloan, Selma and Verlin Martin; his cousin Greg Martin; his uncle Billy Martin; and his aunt Jeannie.

He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Sloan (Martin) of Gore, OK; his siblings, Steve (Terry Sloan) of Gore and Kimberly (Art Pearson) of Gore; his nieces and nephews, Dr. AJ Pearson (Tiffany) of Greenwood, Arkansas, Lacey (Michael Jackson) of Gore, Ashley (Matt Hyde) of Edmond, Oklahoma and Cody (Ashley Sloan) of Gore; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Pearson, Hudson Hyde, Hendrix Jackson, Adeline, Crawford and Clara Sloan; and his aunts and uncles, Buddy (Sue Martin), Bobby (Jackie Martin), Betty (Bob Rhode), Mary Beth (Larry Gately) and Darlene Coleman. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Cornerstone Funeral Home & Crematory (1830 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gore United Methodist Church W 4th.
