It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Rainey of Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ray Rainey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Irene Rainey and Woodrow Lyle Rainey; and his stepfather Glen Andrews. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Faye Long; his children, Ranae Bumgarner (Chuck) and Greg Rainey (Laura); his grandchildren, Jill Rainey Jordan (Erik) and Charles Bumgarner II of Tahlequah; his great grandchildren, Penny Rainey Jordan and Charles Bumgarner III; his brother Gary Dean Andrews (Suzy) of Muskogee; and his stepgrandchildren, Kendra Deaton (Tyler) of Bartlesville and Buck Kennedy of Wagoner. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Southeast Baptist Church (2511 E Hancock St, Muskogee, OK 74403).
