He was predeceased by: his father Ted Smith; his grandparents, William, Lona Smith, Bob and Elma Baker; and his brother Russell Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Fay Garland; his daughters, Lisa Brunn (Scott) of Tulsa and Lori Hird (Vincent) of Edmond; his grandchildren, Emma Brunn of Tulsa, Violet Hird of Edmond, Vincent Hird Jr. and Zane Hird of Yukon; his mother June Smith (Baker) of Muskogee; his siblings, Rita Parsons (Roy) of Tulsa, Robin Greiner (Fred) of Orlando, FL and Rhonda Branscum (Chris) of Fort Gibson; and his sister-in-law Sharon Smith of Muskogee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members.
