With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rick Garner (Muskogee, Oklahoma), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rick left this world on June 16, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace C. Garner and Betty M. Garner (Scraper); his in-laws, Mac and Bettie McCaffrey; his sister Jan Laws; his brother-in-law George Bristow; his brother Bucky Garner; and his nephew John Brent Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Garner; his daughters, Amber McDaniel (Trapper) of Muskogee and Michelle Jones; his grandchildren, Mabree Morris, Ashlyn McDaniel and Kord McDaniel; his great grandchildren, Colt Frix of Muskogee, Leanne McKay of Muskogee and Chloe McKay of Muskogee; his siblings, Raymond McCaffrey (Candace) of Norman, Wayne Garner of Wilburton, Vivan Garner Cottrell of Tahlequah, Raymond Garner of Tahlequah, Cynthia Ann Brooks of San Antonio, TX, Carolyn Vouklizas of Arlington, TX and Mary Ann Bristow of Cookson; and his cousin Richie Garner (Allison) of Tahlequah. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Cornerstone Funeral Home & Crematory (1830 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel (1830 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403).
