He was predeceased by: his parents, Orris Hiatt and Norma Jean Hiatt (Warren); his wife Visteena Spottedhorse; and his sister Joyce Blevins. He is survived by: his daughters, Hannah Clairday of Muskogee and Krystal Hiatt of Hulbert; his sister Dena Essner of Cypress, Texas; his sons, Ricky Hiatt of Helena and Chris Hiatt of Butte, Montana; and his grandchildren, Carly Hiatt of Hulbert, OK, Eli Clairday of Fort Gibson and Alli Bellah of Muskogee. He is also survived by relatives and close friends.
