He was predeceased by: his father James Rhodes, Jr.; his grandparents, Bob, Virginia Tidwell, James and Ellen Rhodes; and his brother-in-law Aaron Hicks.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Rhodes (Tidwell); his children, Tyler Barnett (Cindy) of Inola, Dustin Wilkins of Tulsa, Chelsi Lepley (Michael) of Muskogee and Cierra Rhodes of Tulsa; his grandchildren, Makiah Barnett, Jordan Barnett, Aurora Wilkins, Kendall Barry, Kensly Lepley, Charlotte Lepley and Raylee Lepley; his siblings, Austin Rhodes (Ryan) of Muskogee and Robin Hicks of Sierra Vista, Arizona; and his aunts and uncles, Jeanne Curtis (Duane) of Checotah, Bobby Tidwell (Billie) of Checotah, Rick Tidwell (Sharon) of Council Hill, Kathy Rhodes (Roy) of Muskogee and Cathy Bennett (Mike) of Checotah.
