He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Z. Pierce and Frankie Pierce (Brown); his siblings, James Pierce, Cyal Pierce, Homer Z. "Junior" Pierce, Clara Mae Middleton, Rebecca A. Ketcherside and Ruby Jean Kelley; and his nephews, Steven Kelley and Homer Lee Pierce.
He is survived by: his son Benjamin Pierce; his grandchildren, Shailey Pierce and Corben Pierce; and his siblings, Kenneth Pierce, Betty Roberts (Dan) and Bertha Lambert (Lee). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
