It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roswitha T. Stairs of Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jakob Schick and Emma Schick (Bittner); her sister Beate Rorrer; her nephew Hans Dieter Born; her grandson Dustin J. Hawkins; her niece Shirley Shinabargar; and her sister-in-law Nancy Hawkins.

She is survived by: her husband Paul Richard Stairs; her children, Bob Hawkins (Mike Martin) of Round Rock, TX, Tom Hawkins (Glenda) of Wilburton, OK, Don Hawkins of Wilburton, OK, Richard Stairs (Jennifer) of Elgin, OK and Ramona Dill (Bobby) of Oktaha, OK; her grandchildren, Amanda Dill-Wofford of Oktaha, OK, Jason Hawkins of Owasso, OK, Waylon Dill (Jordan) of Muskogee, OK, Sonja Tucker of Muskogee, OK, Brandon Dill of Oktaha, OK, River Stairs (Kaitlyn) of Elgin, OK, Brooke Foshee (Norman) of Canton, TX, Kai Stairs of Muskogee, OK, Bradley Wofford of Muskogee, OK and Sabrina Moore of Warner, OK; her great grandchildren, Landon, Lakota, Linkin Wofford, Kaden McConnell, Raylon, Sawyer, Sayler Dill, Trenton, Treyden, Savannah Tucker, Colt, Channing, Kendra Dill, Emma, Grace, Liam Hawkins, Camryn and Cooper Stairs; her siblings, Dean Stairs and Ronda Slauenwhite (Kenny); and her niece Donna Schanuth (Terry). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, a ton of honorary grandchildren, other family members and friends.
