He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Wordlow and Geneva Reese Lewis; his sister Jamesetta Welch; his grandson Jeremy Wordlow; and his daughter Ruschelle.
He is survived by: his siblings, Alberta Jackson and James Lewis; his wife Cheryl Nesbitt-Adkins; and his daughters, Rosalyn Brown (Stevie), Rana McVay (Marcus) and Renita Wordlow. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
