She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Cordell and Pearl Cordell (Rhoden); her husband Teddy Clay Pennington; her son Marck Anthony Pennington; and her siblings, Carl "Buddy" Dean Cordell, Don Cordell, Billie White and Kathryn Cookson.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Barnett of Fort Gibson, Penny Slape of Muskogee, Gene Ellis (Shannon) of Liberty, MO and David Pennington of Fort Gibson; and her grandchildren, Trey Mitchell, Brittany Clark, TJ Barnett, Gena Lewis, Eric Baker, Mike Ellis, Teddy Clay Baker, Austin Baker, Luke Pennington and Skylar Pennington. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly; extended family and many friends.
