She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Simmons (Ira), Dinita Bonner (Tyrone) and Janae; her foster sons, Bobby Taplin Jr. (Rosalind), Brian Taplin (Marie), JaMario Smith and Jarvis Smith; her grandchildren, Kenyatte Taplin, Jameysha Demery, Jaimee Demery, Landon Simmons, Tyriona Bonner, Timya Robinson, Tyrone Bonner Jr., Tyavia Bonner, DaMarion Bonner, Bobby Taplin III, Brandon Taplin, Breonna Overstreet, Amaya Smith, Anajah, Devoria, Dekeria, Demorrious and Treveon Fue; her great grandchildren, Lester Johnson, Jaliyaha Thomas and Jahlil Thomas; her sisters, Rebecca Reed, Melba Fields (Melvin) and Brenda Rodgers Adopted Little (Floyd); her children, Andrew Penny and Erica Jones; and her uncle Rev. Jesse Frazier. She is also survived by other relatives, church family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Okmulgee Cemetery.
