She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Sampley and Fern Sampley; her husband JB Brooks; her sisters, Doris and Carolyn; and her sister-in-law Ann Afdahl.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Gay Leck (Richard); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Jordan (John) and Greg Leck (Nicole); her great grandchild Mason Jordan; and her sibling's children, Tracy Foster (Jud), Mike Bien and Rod Bien.
