She was predeceased by: her parent Nadell Pearson; her husband Sammy Potter; her granddaughter Lillian Potter; her parent Eustice Pearson; and her siblings, Neva Jo Smith, Jack and Gene Pearson.

She is survived by: her son Jason Potter; her grandson Jacob Logan Potter; her daughter Jessica Newberry; and her son-in-law Randy Newberry. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and innumerable church family members.
