With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elva Shorter (Mustang, Oklahoma), who passed away on April 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Jones and Ines Jones; and her brothers, Bill Jones and Neil Jones. She is survived by: her children, Rick Shorter and Dona Cartwright (Jim); her grandchildren, Jason Shorter (Ramie), Jamie Case (Brad) and Michael Cartwright (Shea); and her great grandchildren, Farrah York, Easton, Eva McDaniel, Baze, Kori Case, Evelyn and James Cartwright. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
