He is survived by: his wife Martha Gavin; his sister Anne Hackl (Richard); his mother-in-law Margarita "Maggie" Mechek; his sister-in-law Theresa Bearden; and his nieces and nephews, Ashley Sands, Terri Leigh Holt, Mike Nevins, Cathy Burke, Jim Nevins, Tom Nevins, Kelly Kleiner, Scott Hackl, Sharon Hackl and Mark Hackl.
