He was predeceased by: his mother Judy Mapes (Nail); and his sister Jana Michelle Mapes. He is survived by: his father Wayne Mapes; his wife Diana; his daughters, Sarah Stevens (Josh) and Grace Mapes; and his brother Phil Mapes.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Chisholm Heights Baptist Church (2243 W State Hwy 152, Mustang, OK 73064). During COVID, when no one else could come to the church, Noel would come and operate the camera so that services could be recorded and livestreamed.
